Damage restoration is not glamorous work. It is also not vague. You walk into a house where something went wrong, you assess what you actually find, and you bring it back to a measurable standard – then you document every step so the homeowner and their insurer can both see the proof. At DryMark Restoration, that is the job. Not a version of it. The whole thing. We’ve operated this way since 2011, across 27 states, on more than 12,000 homes. If you want work where you can see what you did and prove it was done right, keep reading.
Who We’re Looking For
- Water Damage Technician: Someone who reads a psychrometer before they pull a single baseboard, and understands that the moisture reading – not the water stain – tells the real story.
- Mold Remediation Specialist: Detail-oriented, disciplined about containment, and committed to clearance testing rather than a visual check and a handshake.
- Fire and Smoke Restoration Tech: Patient enough to trace smoke travel through an HVAC system, and precise enough to document what was affected versus what only smells like it was.
- Sewage and Biohazard Cleanup Technician: Calm under conditions that rattle most people, rigorous about PPE and disposal protocols, and steady when the work is genuinely difficult.
- Dispatcher / Customer Service Rep: A clear communicator who can explain a written scope to a panicked homeowner at 2 a.m. and keep a crew schedule moving without losing either.
- Reconstruction and Rebuild Installer: Finish-carpentry instincts, a working knowledge of drywall and flooring, and the patience to rebuild a room the right way rather than the fast way.
What We Offer

A Real Path From Apprentice to Lead
We train from the ground up, using IICRC, RIA, and IFA documentation standards as the baseline. That is not a checkbox – it is the framework we use on every job, and learning it gives you a professional credential that travels with you. Apprentices work alongside lead technicians, read the moisture logs, and earn autonomy as their readings prove it. The path from day one to crew lead is documented, not promised verbally.
Work You Can Actually Stand Behind
The Haven Standard means every job leaves a written price before it starts, a photo record on every visit, and a 365-Day Done Right Promise when it’s finished. You will never be asked to do the work quietly and hope nobody notices. The documentation we require protects the homeowner and it protects you – when you do the job right, there’s a signed record that proves it.
Local Crew, National Backing
You will work with the same people every day, serve your own community, and have the buying power of a national brand behind your equipment list. Our crews deploy professional-grade drying systems from Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry – not whatever was on sale at the rental counter. That matters on a job where a slower dry means a worse outcome for the homeowner and a harder claim for everyone involved.
Steady, Non-Negotiable Demand
Pipes burst. Storms hit. Sewers back up. None of that slows down because the economy does, and damage restoration has not historically been a trade where crews sit idle waiting for the phone to ring. Across 27 states, we answer every call with a live person, around the clock, every day of the year – which means when work comes in, it comes in through a system that is already running.
Before
AfterNo Experience? Read This.
If you have spent time in construction, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, property maintenance, or any trade where you’ve read a situation and solved a problem with your hands, a significant part of this job is already familiar to you. The restoration-specific piece – psychrometric readings, containment protocols, moisture mapping, IICRC documentation standards – we teach that. On the job, alongside a lead tech, starting from your first week.
The first few months are structured: you observe, you assist, you document under supervision, and you ask questions. We hire people who ask questions. The single trait that does not transfer well from other trades is cutting corners on documentation. Our logs are the product. If that sounds like a standard you can work to, we want to hear from you. Call us or fill out the form below and tell us what you’ve worked on.
How to Apply

Call us at (629) 213-4606 – a live person will answer – or use the contact form below. Tell us where you’re based, what kind of work you’ve done (trade, construction, customer service, or none of the above), and when you’re available to start. Hiring happens locally through the DryMark crew nearest to you. No resume required to start the conversation.
